About
Seamus Platt is an Australian born, Berlin based, visual artist that responds to our contemporary era of Post-truth by exploring the no-man’s-land between Narrative and Documentary. Oscillating between each of Photography’s poles; Seamus incorporates elements of both index and construction. Firstly, he does so to foreground Lens-based practice’s archaic relation to objectivity, and then, paradoxically, to reach a zone that he considers to be more authentic than using one of these antitheses individually.
